Each event in Germany’s capital Berlin with 2000 guests from the worlds of politics, economics and media. The “Parlamentskreis Mittelstand” of the Conservative parties CDU/CSU started off the summer break at the Kronprinzenpalais. The SPD parliamentary group with their “Hoffest” next to the German Chancellery. At both locations: The Mercedes-Benz EQC (combined power consumption: 20.8 – 19.7 kWh/100 km; combined CO₂ emissions: 0 g/km). And: Daimler AG External Affairs/Berlin and Mercedes-Benz Cars, Procurement & Supplier Quality. The message: Around 500 suppliers produce component parts for the first fully electric Mercedes-Benz trademark vehicle, with 250 of those suppliers from Germany.
Of the 246 representatives of the CDU/CSU parliamentary group, 161 of them are currently involved in the “Parlamentskreis Mittelstand”. About two-thirds. The main purpose: To represent the concerns of small, mid-sized and family-owned businesses. So there were many owners of these companies among the 2000 guests. 143 Members of Parliament are part of the SPD parliamentary group. Many SPD members from all over Germany came to the festival right next to the Chancellery. The most common questions about the EQC were: “When can I buy it?”, “How much does it cost?” and “How far can it go on one charge?”.
The presentation of the EQC in Berlin: A joint action by Daimler External Affairs/Berlin and Mercedes-Benz Cars, Procurement & Supplier Quality. In summary: The ruling coalition in Berlin now knows how Mercedes-Benz gets on the road, all electric. With the EQC.
